Open Drain, Drives High Slow Strong Drive High Impedance Analog Open Drain Drives Low The exact details of how this circuitry is implemented aren't included in the data sheet. You can probably picture how it would be accomplished. The open drain methods are a great addition to help with such situations as an Izc buses. The slow strong drive adds additional slew to the output signal at the bonding pad. This has helped me in projects where I was getting a little too much noise emission from my circuit in an audio application.

The newer parts have blocks that are improved and therefore have been given different designations. A comparison is given in Table 2-1. The various blocks are listed in order from left to right, top to bottom as they appear in the Device Editor, Interconnect View, of PSoC Designer. 2am/a4m~ta~2:gm ACA03 ASA 10 ASB 11 ASA 12 ASB 13 ASB20 ASA21 ASB22 ASA23 ACB03 ASC 10 ASD 11 ASC 12 ASD 13 ASD20 ASC21 ASD22 ASC23 Those blocks that begin with 'DB' are basic digital blocks. There are a few differences in how the block can interconnect on the newer parts, so the newer parts list these as 'DBB' rather than 'DBA'.
